It's Pronounced Ka-Kutch-Ka ...
I've been a successful wedding and portrait photographer for over 15 years. I've been published in some butt kicker publications, like Time Magazine and Rolling Stone. I've done over 400 weddings to date. I'm proud of all that, but what's more important to me, and what I'd like you to know about me is that I'm best at capturing the heart of the moment.
While grandma is kissing the newest baby of the family, your mother is laughing with one of your guests and cousin Joe is busting a crazy move on the dance floor. As all that is happening, your new spouse is glancing lovingly at you from across the crowded room. Those moments are where you'll find me. That's where my camera will be pointed.
Technically, I still edit and process my own images - every single one of them - because the quality of the final presentation is so important to me. That's really where the artistry of my work comes in, and what brings those sweet moments to their highest quality. It's like the heart of a moment finds its home in the finished image.
I think I've always had a bittersweet romance with time, and that's what makes me a photographer. I love being a witness to the many tender, funny, moving and beautiful moments that fill a day. Those moments will be happening all around you at your event, and I'm honored when I'm the one that gets to show you just how special they were. From a young age I had an awareness that the moment mattered, and the people in that moment mattered, and both were worthy of being preserved. I still feel that way ... more than ever.
